About the position:

As an IT Delivery Manager, you will lead the Project Management team, overseeing the successful execution of multiple projects while ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic goals. You will drive the team's performance by providing guidance, ensuring quality standards, and serving as a key communication bridge between project teams and leadership. Your role will focus on effective resource allocation, resolving impediments, and fostering a collaborative environment. In partnership with the Technical Leader, you will ensure compliance with best practices and champion continuous improvement initiatives. Additionally, you will promote a culture of growth and excellence, guiding the team to adopt Agile methodologies and delivering high-quality outcomes. 


Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership, Management, and Accountability for Day-to-Day Project Oversight: Monitor the progress of ongoing projects to ensure they are on track to meet deadlines and deliverables. 
  • Facilitate Communication: Serve as a communication bridge between project teams and the leader of the production department, ensuring that any issues or impediments are escalated appropriately and that teams receive the support they need to overcome challenges.
  • Support Resource Allocation: Collaborate with the leader of the production department, project mgmt team and related stakeholders to ensure that project team members are well allocated and project teams have access to the necessary resources, tools, and support to execute their projects effectively.
  • Identify Impediments: Actively observe and evaluate company’s projects and workflows to identify impediments that limit growth, continuous improvement, and autonomy within project teams.
  • Suggest Tactics for Improvement: Based on the identified impediments, propose actionable tactics and strategies for enhancing team performance and project outcomes. 
  • Facilitate Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Lead efforts to implement continuous improvement initiatives across project teams. This may involve organizing workshops, training sessions, or brainstorming meetings to share knowledge and best practices.
  • Monitor Compliance and Quality: Collaborate with the Technical Leader to ensure that all project activities comply with organizational standards and best practices, monitoring the quality of deliverables and projects health, and ensuring that teams adhere to established processes.
  • Agile implementation: Advocate for a culture of continuous improvement and promotes the adoption of Agile best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in leadership or management positions at organizational / departmental level. 
  • Proven experience in software project management or a related role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent English skills.
  • Strong project management and organizational abilities.
  • Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
